Chiranjivians won laurels to school, 7.05.2012
An Inter School ‘Cyber Buzz’ Competition was organized at Amity International School, Sec 43 on May 5, 2012. 20 students of CBSPV from classes 3rd to 12th participated in the event in various categories like Quiz, Gaming, Programming, Group Discussion, Photoshoping, Movie making , show and tell, Power Point etc. Karanjyot and Vasu Saxena of Class XII E won 1st Prize in Programming and brought laurels to the school.

Labour Day Observed at CBSPV
A special assembly celebrating Labour Day was conducted in the school. A passage was read out to unfurl the history of International Labour Day. Students were introduced to the terms ‘Blue Collar Jobs’ and ‘White Collar Jobs ‘. Saumyata Deswal of class XII , recited the lyrics of the song ’40 hours a week ‘, accompanied by mesmerizing sound track of ‘Chariots Of Fire’ . The song was a tribute to the untiring efforts of community workers. On the occasion of MAY DAY a short documentary on the history of Labour Day was shown to the students of classes XI and XII. As an attempt to sensitize students about ‘Child Labour’, a panel discussion was held on the issue. The objective of the discussion was to make the audience realize their contribution in individual capacity to eradicate the problem. Radhika of class XII adjudged as the best panelist. Commerce Department was appreciated for the initiative taken.
