Valediction Ceremony held for Class XII
|

DIYA CEREMONY
The Valediction Ceremony for Class XII held at Chiranjiv Bharati School, Palam Vihar was an emotional affair. Also referred to as the Diya Ceremony, the evening of 3rd Feb 2012 was seeped with tradition. At the onset, chanting from Rig Veda give a special spiritual dimension to the significant evening. The students of class XII were accorded a special welcome. Mrs Shukla Das, a senior member of the faculty, speaking on the occasion blessed the students and wished them all the very best for their future. Ex Chiranjivian and presently a student of IIT, Pavel Gupta geared them up for the challenges ahead and Arushi Labroo of class XI tugged at their heart strings as she talked about the pain of parting. Principal Mrs Sangeeta Saxena showered her blessings on the students and the teachers of the school sang a beautiful song apt for the occasion. A floral outline of the map of India had been drawn and the students were gifted with diyas lit to create a special aura of resplendence to commemorate the occasion. Teachers also applied the traditional tilak on the forehead of the students and the evening was indeed radiant as the students of class XII stood with the lit diyas along the floral boundary map of India with a bright promise for a better tomorrow.

Basant Panchami Celebrated
The glory of spring was ushered into C.B.S, PV with an auspicious special ‘havan’ and ‘puja’ to Ma Saraswati seeking her manifold blessings in all creative and academic endeavours. The programme began with the pious sounds of conch shell and hymns-chantings of ‘Saraswati Vandana’ followed by an enthralling Puja dance performed by classes IV and V students. Shades of yellow brightened up the ambience of the school when the students and teachers glided over the ground in glorious yellow sharing the golden light with ‘gandhas’ and other yellow flowers symbolic of knowledge and enlightenment of spring. The programme ended on a happy note with the distribution of Prashad to everybody.

63rd Republic Day Celebrations at CBSPV

Republic Day Celebrations
A special assembly was held in the school premises to celebrate Republic Day. At the onset ,there was the flag hoisting ceremony and Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Saxena unfurled the tricolour . The National Anthem was sung to reinforce the spirit of this great National festival.
A March past helped to soak in the patriotic fervor with Principal Ma’am taking the salute. She gave an inspiring message on the importance of the day when the constitution of India had come into force and wished everybody a very happy Republic Day.
The true significance of Republic Day was highlighted by Saumyata Deswal and the music choir of the school rose to the occasion by presenting a melodious patriotic number. The celebrations helped the students to understand the significance of Republic Day and they pledged to bring glory to their motherland.

Lohri Celebrations

Lohri Celebrations at CBSPV
Lohri was celebrated at CBSPV on 13th January, 2012 with great vigour and enthusiasm. As is the tradition, a huge bonfire set the stage for the celebration. Songs were sung and prayers were offered to bring in the joy and festivity. The school Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Saxena, Sr. HeadMistress Ms. Raka Kaul, Middle wing Head Mistress Ms. Shailini Jerath and Jr. Head Mistress Ms. Shoma Lahiri greeted everyone present and wished the staff a happy Lohri and Maker Sansranti.

NOTICE
This is to inform you all that the school will remain closed
for Classes Pre primary to XII till 16thof January 2012 as per guidelines given by Haryana
Government. From 17th January onwards school timing will be 9:30
am to 2:30 pm. Revised datesheet for class XII pre-board examination & retest schedule for classes VI-XI has been put in alerts.
